  • Contact information: your name, email address, selected topic and message when you contact us.
  • Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, access times, login attempts and related information used to operate and protect the website.
  • Optional analytics: website usage information collected through Google Analytics according to your analytics choices, as described in our Cookie Notice.

Health information and privacy

Bee Health Nexus is an educational website, not a healthcare provider or a place to maintain a medical record.

Please do not post medical records, identifiable patient information, private contact details or another person’s health information. Avoid sharing identifying details about your own health in public discussions.

If you include health information in a post or message, that information becomes part of your submission and is handled according to its visibility and this policy.

Nursing students and healthcare workers must also follow their school’s and workplace’s confidentiality requirements.

How we use information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To provide saved resources, practice results and community features.
  • To send account verification, password reset and other service messages.
  • To respond to questions, account problems and privacy requests.
  • To moderate discussions and investigate reported content.
  • To detect spam, unauthorized access and misuse.
  • To maintain the website and understand its use through optional analytics.
  • To meet applicable legal obligations.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate the website. These include Hostinger for hosting, email services for delivering account messages, Cloudflare Turnstile for form security and Google Analytics for optional website analytics.

These services receive information relevant to the functions they provide. Their handling of information is also described in their privacy notices:

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, address security incidents or protect people from harm.

Public information and study groups

Your display name and public community contributions are visible to people who can access the relevant page. You do not need to use your real name as your display name.

Public contributions may be copied, shared or indexed by search engines. Do not include information you would not want other people to see.

Study group visibility depends on the group’s access settings. Do not assume a group is private unless its visibility is clearly stated. Administrators and authorized moderators may access group content to operate the site and address reports.

Keeping and deleting your data

We retain information according to the purpose for which it is held, the features you use and applicable legal or security requirements. Account details, saved resources and practice results support your ongoing use of the website. Community contributions may remain as part of discussions.

You can request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Account deletion does not necessarily remove every community contribution. If you want a particular post or personal detail removed, identify it in your request. Removing an account name does not remove personal information written inside a post.

Some information may need to be retained for legal or security purposes. Copies may also remain in backups until those backups are replaced or expire. Copies held by other people or external websites may remain outside our control.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to support login sessions, security, preferences and cookie choices.

Our Cookie Notice describes optional Google Analytics and the analytics choices offered by the site. You can also manage cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may prevent some features from working.

Read our Cookie Notice for more information.

External content and links

Embedded content, such as videos from another website, may allow its provider to collect information about your visit, use cookies or recognize you if you are signed in to that service.

External websites and services have their own privacy policies. This policy does not govern their information practices.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

Security

No website or method of internet transmission can guarantee complete security. Use a unique password, keep your login credentials private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Children and age requirements

Accounts and community participation are intended for adults aged 18 and older. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account or submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Your privacy choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also have rights to withdraw consent, object to certain processing or appeal a decision about a privacy request.

Contact us to exercise your rights. We will handle requests within the time required by applicable law. Please do not include your password or unnecessary health information in your request.
