This policy explains what information Bee Health Nexus (“we”) collects, how we use it and the choices you have. Bee Health Nexus is for adults 18 and older.
Information we collect
- Account details: your email address, password (stored encrypted), display name and, if you choose, whether you are a nursing student, a patient or family member, or other.
- Study activity: resources you save and your practice question answers and results.
- Community posts: discussions, replies, reports and study group activity.
- Security information: IP address and basic device information used to prevent spam, abuse and repeated login attempts.
- Analytics (only if you accept): pages visited and general usage, through Google Analytics.
Please do not share health details
We are not a healthcare provider. Please do not post your own or anyone else’s personal health information, medical records or contact details in the community.
How we use information
- To run your account, keep your saved items and results across devices, and send account emails (verification, password reset, reply notices you can turn off).
- To moderate the community and keep it safe.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics only with consent).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers to run the site: our web host (Hostinger), our email delivery service, Cloudflare (security check on forms) and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics. They process data on our behalf.
Public information
Your display name and community posts are visible to other visitors. Posts in study groups are visible only to group members and moderators.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from My account. This removes your email, password, profile, saved items, practice results and group memberships. Your community posts stay, shown as “Former member,” so conversations still make sense. You can also download your data from your account page.
